Why do tourists from France and Italy go on a beach vacation to Greece? I dont know!
A lot of foreign tourists spend their holidays this summer in Greece in 2022. Tourists arrive in Greece from different countries of Europe, as well as from the USA. As Minister of Tourism Vassilis Kikilias said: "Greece is the number 1 destination for travelers from France and Italy this year." This is good for the Greek tourism business.
But I, a resident of a northern country, do not understand why the inhabitants of Italy and France should travel to Greece, when these countries have their own wonderful beach coasts. (For example, the Côte d'Azur in France or the Veneto region in Italy.)
