The first victim of "Allegro" train

The high speed train “Allegro” began operating December 12, 2010. Trip from Helsinki to St. Petersburg takes a little more than 3 hours now. This is a very good train. But not everyone understands danger of such high speed. Not all security measures have been taken.

January 19, 2011 high-speed train № 156 “Allegro” shot down two peoples. The accident occurred near St. Petersburg on a railway site Udelnaja- Shuvalovo. About 19.00 (Moscow time) the two men tried to cross the railway. According to witnesses the incident, the young men came to the crossing of the railway, paid no attention to the warning signals of the train. Both men died. The press service of railways said that the dead were the first victims of high-speed trains “Allegro”. According to police victims were drunk.
