Rhodes deer are one of the symbols of the city. It is said that in the ancient city of Rhodes (Greece) was one of the Seven Wonders of the World, a giant statue of Colossus of Rhodes. The statue was destroyed by an earthquake. At the place where centuries ago were feet of the Colossus, now installed two deer sculptures on high pedestals.
