Yelagin island

Yelagin Island located in the central part of Saint Petersburg, in the delta of the Neva River. Size of island: stretches from east to west - 2.1 kilometers, from north to south 0.8 kilometers. Large part of the island territory is occupied by the park (Central Park of Culture and Leisure).
The largest building on the island is Elagin palace.

At present time in the palace are held various exhibitions of art and entertainment events. The park is well suited for walking. On the Elagin island often performed public events, celebrations and festivals.

The nearest metro station: “Krestovsky Ostrov”.
