Krasnaya Polyana is located in the Krasnodar region, near the town of Sochi. The distance from the village to the Black Sea is 39 kilometers, from Adler to Krasnaya Polyana - 40 kilometers from Sochi center to Krasnaya Polyana - 70 km. The population of the village in 2009 was about 4000 people. Krasnaya Polyana has a reputation as the most respectable in Russia center of skiing and snowboarding. Village became widely known acquired due to the fact that there will be competitions held the 2014 Olympic Games. Sport ski centers are located near the village. Part of the object is located in the village of Esto-Sadok. Alpine skiing complex “Rose Farm.”
Ski complex “Rose Farm” (Rosa Hutor) is situated 6 km from the village of Krasnaya Polyana, the slopes of Aibga. Currently, ski complex is already functioning, but the construction continues. After completion of the work here will be built: ski resort, snowboard park, freestyle Center, Mountain Olympic Village. The total length of ski trails on the project is about 80 km. The highest point of track is 2320 meters above sea level, the maximum slopes elevation 1,360 meters, the maximum length of the track is 4200 meters. Number planned lifts - 18. Trails comply with the requirements the International Ski Federation (FIS).
Alpine skiing complex “Alpika Service”.
Ski complex “Alpika Service” is located at a distance of 12 km from Krasnaya Polyana, and 8 km from the Esto-Sadok village. It began its work in 1992. Difference of heights on the slopes is 1,698 m (highest point 2,238 m, the lower 540 m). From the upper cable car (aerial tram) station, located on a ridge Aibga, offering a unique panorama view over the mountains (360 °).
Alpine skiing and tourist center of “Gazprom”.
Alpine skiing and tourist center is located near the “Grand Hotel Polyana” hotel. On the slopes of “Psekhako” are 15 ski routes of various difficulty levels, 5 of which lit for night skiing, there are 6 ski lifts. The total length of ski trails - more than 15 km. The maximum length of slop is 1715, the maximum elevation 216 meters. In the resort are 6 ski lifts. It is also known as “Gazprom Laura.”
Skiing complex “Gornaja Carousel.”
Skiing complex “Gornaja Carousel” (“Mountain Carousel”) was opened in 2008. It is situated 700 m from the “Gazprom” (Laura) and 500 m from the ski resort “Alpika Service”. The total length of existing trails (2010) are about 10 km.
“Gornaja Carousel” - one of the sports facilities the 2014 Olympics. Now work is underway on construction of sports facilities. Under the plan the total length of ski trails will be 70 km. Total capacity of the complex will be 12,000 people. It will be run 28 lines of ski lifts here.
Also for the Olympic Games here will be built Olympic “Media Center”.
