Macedonia has canceled visa requirements for Russian citizens

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia announced the cancellation of a one-year visas for Russian citizens. Russian citizens do not need visas for short-term (up to 90 days) visit to Macedonia. At first Macedonia abolished visas for Russian citizens for up to 6 months. The new solution will be valid for one year. Russians enough to have a valid passport, insurance policy and needed to stay in the country a sum of money for entry into Macedonia.

The decision to abolish visas taken to attract more tourists to the country. Tourism brings significant revenues to the budget of many countries. Simplifying border crossing can have a significant impact on the number of tourists.
