The “Varvara” monument in the Hamina city (Finland) is located near the military school. The monument was created with money that was collected by former cadets of the reserve officers' school in Hamina. Varvara Shantina helped cadets by selling them pastries.

The monument was created by sculptor Veikko Haukkavaara in 1972. Varvara Shantina, 1870-1941.
