Helsinki Music House (Helsingin musiikkitalo) is located in the central part of town, on the Töölönlahti gulf coast. House of Music is located opposite the Finland House of Parliament. Next to the House of Music is located a “Kiasma” Contemporary Art museum. House of Music in Helsinki was opened on August 31, 2011.
In the Helsinki Music Centre are working Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Sibelius Academy. Largest hall of Music House can accommodate 1700 spectators. Total area is 36 000 m ². You can walk to House of music from the Helsinki railway station.
