Brandenburg Gate is one of the most famous sights of Berlin. Brandenburg Gate is located in central part of Berlin, in the district of Mitte, on the Paris square.

The Brandenburg Gate was built in the years 1788-1791. At the top of construction is set famous sculptural composition “Quadriga” (ancient chariot drawn by four horses, which manages the Victory goddess). The Brandenburg Gate is a symbol of a united Germany. Various public events are often held here.

Such constructions are present in many European cities. For example: the “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris or “Moscow Gates” in St. Petersburg.
