Congress and Exhibition Center “Parc des expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte” (also known as the “Parc des expositions de Villepinte”) is located in Paris suburb of Villepinte, near the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is the most modern exhibition center in France. Exhibition Centre was opened in 1982. This is the second largest by total area exhibition center of Paris and France, one of the largest in Europe.
The Exhibition Centre has eight halls with a total area of over 246,000 square meters and outdoor exhibition area of over 90,000 square meters. It regularly hosts exhibitions, both for professionals and for the general public. It also hosts international conferences and cultural events.
Exhibition Centre is located approximately 18 kilometers north-east of the city center, close to the international Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, next to the business park ParisNord 2.
Exhibition Center “Parc des expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte” construction was conducted under the guidance of the Chamber of Commerce of Paris. The opening event took place in December 1982. Since the opening of Exhibition Center its halls area increased from 70 000 (1982) to 246 000 square meters (2010). There are plans to increase the amount of exhibition space to 350,000 square meters.
How to get to
There is “Parc des Ekspositions station” RER station (line B) located near the Exhibition Centre. (RER is a system of high-speed rail public transport serving the city of Paris and the suburbs.)
