“Alexander Nevsky Cathedral” is orthodox church in Tallinn. Cathedral located next to the Toomplea castle in the Old Town of Tallinn. The cathedral was built in 1900. Estonian authorities have several times wanted to demolish the cathedral. As reasons, was called also that appearance of the cathedral is not in harmony with the architectural style of the Old Town.
This is currently active church, which hosts services in Russian.
