Power station in Imatra town (Finland). Power plant is located on Vuoksa River, near Saima lake. Imatra power plant construction was started in 1922. The first machinery was put into operation in 1928 and the last or the seventh machinery in 1951. The power plant's current power is 178 MW and an annual production about 1,000 GWh (2012). Power plant in Imatra is Finland's largest hydroelectric power plant in terms of annual electricity production.

The power plant is operated by Fortum Oy.
