Curia of Pompey was one of the few known places for meetings of the Senate in the days of ancient Rome. This structure is better known as the place where he was killed the famous Julius Caesar in 44 BC. Curia of Pompey is located in Rome, in district which is now called “Largo di Torre Argentina”, close to the city center.

The photo was taken during a tourist trip to Italy in February 2013.
