Tarragona Amphitheatre

Ancient amphitheatre is the most famous attraction in Tarragona (Spain). Tarragona Amphitheatre is a Roman amphitheatre located near Mediterranean Sea coast in the Catalonia region of north-east Spain. It was built in the 2nd century AD.

The amphitheatre could house up to 15,000 spectators, and measured 130 x 102 m.
The amphitheater is located next to the sea shore, near "Mediterranean Balcony" observation deck in Tarragona. You can walk to amphitheater from the city center along the Rambla Nova Street.

There is a park and cafe near the amphitheatre.
