Metro station "Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo" (Площадь Александра Невского, Alexander Nevsky Square) is located in the central part of St. Petersburg, at the eastern end of the “Nevsky Prospekt’ street, near the Alexander Nevsky square. Near the metro station are located "Moskva" hotel, Alexander Nevsky Monastery (Alexander Nevsky Lavra). Distance to the river Neva is about 400 meters.
There are two “Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo” metro stations on two subway lines in St. Petersburg: "Nevsko-Vasileosrovskaya" line ("Alexander Nevsky Square 1") and the "Pravobereznaja" line ("Alexander Nevsky Square 2"). There is a transition between these two underground stations (lines). The distance between the station ground halls is approximately 120 meters.

Metro station "Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo 1" is located on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line (line 3, green line), between stations "Mayakovskaya" and "Elizarovskaya." The station opened on November 3, 1967.
Metro station lobby is built in the building of “Moskva” hotel, which is located at the Alexander Nevsky square. Ground lobby has access to shopping center “Moskva”.
Underground station hall is located at a depth of 54 meters. Exit (escalators) is located in the northern end of the station. At the southern end of the underground hall of the station begins the transition to the station "Alexander Nevsky Square 2" to "Pravoberezhnaya" line trains (pedestrian tunnel, stairs, escalators).
Metro station "Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo 2"
Metro station "Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo 2" is located on the “Pravoberezhnaya” line of St. Petersburg metro (line 4, orange line), between stations “Ligovsky prospect” and "Novocherkasskaya". The station opened on December 30, 1985.
Metro station lobby is located near to the Alexander Nevsky square, in Chernoretskiy Lane. It is integrated into the building belonged to Saint Petersburg Metro.
The station is an interchange node to trains of Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line. At the eastern end of the station hall are located escalators leading to the pedestrian tunnel to the “Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo 1” metro station.
