Metro stations “Vladimirskaya” and “Dostoevskaya” in Saint Petersburg are located in the city center, approximately 500 meters south of the “Nevsky Prospekt” (main street of Saint Petersburg). Metro station "Vladimirskaya" (Владимирская) is a part of the “Kirov-Vyborgskaya” (line 1, red line) Saint Petersburg subway line. It is located between stations "Pushkinskaya" and “Ploschad Vosstaniya”. Near the station are located “Vladimirsky prospect” street and “Vladimirskaya” square. This explains the choice of the station name.
Station was opened November 15, 1955. Underground station hall is located at a depth of 55 meters. Exit from the station (escalators) located in the northern end of the hall. Ground station lobby is built into the building, which is located on the corner of “Bolshaya Moskovskaya” street and “Kuznechnyi Pereulok” street at Vladimirskaya Square.
It is possible to go to “Pravoberezhnaya” line (station "Dostoevskaya") from the station.
Metro station "Dostoevsky"
Metro station “Dostoevskaya” (Достоевская) is a part of “Pravoberezhnaya” line of Saint-Petersburg metro, and is located between the stations “Ligovsky Prospect” and “Spasskaya”.
The station opened on December 30, 1991. Not far from the station is located a museum-apartment of Fyodor Dostoevsky, that influenced the choice of the station name. Underground station hall is located at a depth of 62 meters. At the north end of of the hall is located exit from the station. At the southern end of the underground hall begins the transition to the metro station “Vladimirskaya”.
