Metro stations “Serpukhovskaya” and “Dobryninskaya” in Moscow are located at a distance approximately 3 kilometers south of the city center (Kremlin and Red Square). The stations are located near the intersection of the “Sadovoye Koltso” (Garden Ring) and “Bolshaya Ordynka”, “Bolshaya Polyanka”, “Pyatnitskaya” and “Lyusinovskaya” streets. Stations lobbies are located at a distance about 300 meters apart of each other. Stations are connected by transition and form interchange node.
Metro station “Dobryninskaya”
Metro station “Dobryninskaya” (станция метро Добрынинская) is located on the “Koltsevaya” line (Circle Line) of the Moscow Metro (line 5, brown line) between stations “Paveletskaya” and “Octyabrskaya”. The station was opened in 1950. Until June 6, 1961 the station was called "Serpukhovskaya". The station was named in honor of Peter G. Dobrynin who takes part in the October Revolution events. (His bust is situated in front of the ground lobby.) It is possible to go to the “Serpukhovskaya” station of Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line from Dobryninskaya station.
The station ground lobby is located at the corner of the Garden Ring street and Lyusinovskaya street, in the southwest edge of Serpukhovskaya square.
Metro Station “Serpukhovskaya”
Metro station “Serpukhovskaya” (станция метро Серпуховская) is located on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line (Line 9, is indicated in gray) of the Moscow underground, between the stations “Polyanka” and “Tulskaya”. The station was opened on November 8, 1983. It is located on depth 43 meters under ground level.
The station has an underground hall. Input and output are carried out through an underground passage under the “Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya” street (near the house №19, №15).
Transition to the station "Dobryninskaya" of Circle Line is located in the northern end of the station hall.
