The metro station “Polyanka” in Moscow located at a distance approximately 1.8 kilometers to south of the city center (Kremlin and Red Square). The station is located between streets “Malaya Polyanka” and “Bolshaya Polyanka”, at the place of their intersection with the “2-d Polyansky” lane.
Metro station “Polyanka” is located at the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya Line of the Moscow Metro (line 9, indicated in the diagrams in gray), between the stations “Borovitskaya” and “Serpukhovskaya”.
The station was opened on 23 January 1986. The choice of name is due to the fact that there are “Bolshaya Polyanka” and “Malaya Polyanka” streets nearby. The station has a lobby, which is located at the corner of “Bolshaya Polyanka” street and 2nd Polyansky lane.
