Metro station “Park Pobedy” in Moscow (Russian: Парк Победы - Victory Park) is located near the “Victory Park” on Poklonnaya Hill, at the intersection of Kutuzovsky Prospekt street, Barclay Street, and General Yermolov street. The station “Park Pobedy” is located at a distance about 7 kilometers to west of the city center (Kreml and Red Square).
Metro station “Park Pobedy” is located on the two lines of the Moscow underground, and forms a cross-platform interchange node. The station is located on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line (line 3, blue line) between the stations “Kievskaya” and “Slavyansky Bulvar”, and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line (line 8, yellow line) between stations “Delovoy Tsentr” and “Minskaya” (station under construction). Each of the halls is serving two subway lines in one direction. Passenger need to go to the other side of the hall to move to another line.
Currently, there is only one exit from the subway station “Park Pobedy”. The station has an underground vestibule, which has access to the underpass under the “Kutuzovsky Prospect” street.
The station is located at the depth 84 meters. It is the deepest metro station in Moscow and the second deepest in Russia. (Station “Admiralteyskaya” in St. Petersburg is the deepest in Russia.)
The station design theme is The Great Patriotic War of 1941 - 1945 and the War of 1812. At the west end of the north hall is a panel dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, and in the east end of the southern hall panel dedicated the 1812 Patriotic War. (The author of both panels is Zurab Tsereteli.)
