Metro Station “Volkovskaya” in Saint Petersburg (станция метро Волковская) is located in the southern part of the city, at the intersection of Bukharestskaya street, Kasimovskaya street and Volkovskiy Prospekt street. The station is located at a distance approximately 5.3 kilometers southeast of the Palace Square.
The “Volkovskaya” station is located on Frunzensko-Primorskaya Saint Petersburg metro line (line 5, purple line) between stations "Obvodny Kanal" and "Bukharestskaya".

The station was opened on 20 December 2008. Volkovskiy Prospekt street and Volkovka river are located near the station. This explains the choice of the station name. Station hall is located at a depth about 61 meters under ground level. The station lobby is housed in the intersection of Kasimovskaya and Bukharestskaya streets. There is access to the shopping center "Radius".
