Metro station Frunzenskaya in Saint Petersburg (станция метро Фрунзенская) is located in the southern part of the city, near the intersection of Moskovsky Prospect street with “Obvodny” channel. The station is located at a distance approximately 3.6 kilometers south of the Palace Square. Frunzenskaya metro station is located on Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya St. Petersburg metro line (Line 2, blue line) between stations "Moskovskye Vorota" and "Tekhnologichesky Institut". The station was opened April 29, 1961.

The station ground vestibule is located in a separate round shape building on Moskovsky Avenue between houses number 65 and 73. The vestibule is located approximately 250 meters to south of the embankment “Obvodny” channel. The station underground hall is located at a depth about 40 meters. Distance to the Baltic railway station is about 1 kilometer.
