Metro Station “Proletarskaya”

Metro Station “Proletarskaya” in St. Petersburg (станция метро Пролетарская) is located in the southern part of the city, on the intersection of Prospect Obukhovskoy Oborony Street and Chernova Street. Proletarskaya station is located on Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya Saint Petersburg metro line (Line 3, green line) between stations "Lomonosovskaya" and "Obukhovo". The distance from the station to the bank of the Neva River is about 300 meters, to the Palace Square, about 12 kilometers to the ring road 1,3 kilometers.

Proletarskaya station was opened July 10, 1981. This is one of the deepest stations in St. Petersburg. The station underground hall located at a depth about 73 meters below the ground surface. In order to get to the ground vestibule need to use two, successive escalators.

The station ground pavilion is housed in a circular shape building, in small park at the intersection of Prospect Obukhovskoy Oborony Street and Chernova Street.
