"Ozerki" metro station

The metro station "Ozerki" in Saint Petersburg is located in a busy location in the north of the city, approximately 10 kilometers from the Palace Square and the Nevsky Prospekt. The station is located at the junction of Prospect Engelsa and Vyborgskye Shosse streets. Near the station are highways that connect the center of St. Petersburg with the northern districts of the Leningrad region. Distance from the bypass road is about 8 kilometers.

The "Ozerki" station located on the Moscovsko-Petrogradskaya metro line (line 2, blue line) between stations "Udelnaya" and "Prospect Prosvescheniya". The station was opened August 19, 1988. The station is located in an area which historically is known as lakes. This explains the choice of the station name. Underground Hall Station located at a depth of about 59 meters below the ground surface. The station has a ground entrance hall, which is located at the fork of the Vyborg highway and Engels avenue.
