Circus “Na Fontanke” (Цирк на Фонтанке) began operating after renovation in St. Petersburg. Opening of the Circus on Fontanka will be held December 18 2015. The renovation of the building began in mid-2014 and lasted for about 1.5 years. During the repair was carried out a great amount of work: fortified foundation, walls repaired, rebuilt the dome, renovated interiors and upgraded amenities. The circus also regained its historical name - Circus Ciniselli.
Circus on Fontanka was built in 1877 on the initiative of the Italian rider and the entrepreneur Gaetano Ciniselli by architect Vasily Kennel.
