Moscow Cathedral Mosque is the main mosque in Moscow. The mosque is located in the northern part of the city, approximately 2.8 kilometers north of the Kremlin and Red Square. The mosque is located just off Durov, between the Olympic prospectus and the Prospectus of the World, next to the Olympic sports complex.
The first building of the mosque was built in 1904. The old building was demolished, and the new was built in its place. The opening of the mosque took place on September 23, 2015.
