What is the best time of year for a Hawaiian vacation?
What time of year is best to go to Hawaii? We think Hawaii is great any time of year. Yes, there are different seasons. The number of rainy days, wind, waves, air temperature - all this differs in different months of the year and in different parts of the island, but Hawaii remains a wonderful vacation destination at any time of the year.
You can see the statement that the dry season in Hawaii lasts (approximately) from April to October, and the wet season from November to March. This does not accurately describe the climate in Hawaii.
Precipitation falls unevenly. The eastern part of the island is (usually) wetter, while the western part is drier. It often happens that it rains at night, but the weather is beautiful during the day. (Statistics do not take this into account.) Most popular resorts are located exactly where the climate is most comfortable for vacationers. This applies to the most popular islands: Oahu, Big Island, Maui.
It would seem that summer is the best time to travel to Hawaii, but many American vacationers come in December, and they are usually satisfied with their vacation.
