The five-star Swissotel Krasnye Holmy (Swissotel Red Hills Hotel) is one of the best in Moscow. The hotel is located in the eastern part of the island Baltschug, at a distance of about 3 kilometers south-east of the Kremlin and Red Square. A distinctive feature of the hotel is the building itself, in which it is located. The hotel was opened in 2005 and at that time it was the highest hotel in Moscow. The hotel building has 34 floors. On the top floor of the hotel, at an altitude of 140 meters, there is a bar-restaurant "City Space" with a panoramic view of the city.

Some people have the opinion that the hotel building does not fit into the architecture of the city center, spoiled the view of the historical center of Moscow. There were even proposals to demolish or rebuild the hotel.
