Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival
Place: Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Dates: February 7–11, 2024.
The Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival takes place in downtown. The Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival theme is “Where Legends Are Made”. Among the planned street events, for example: 100 meter Nordic Sprint, Street Slalom, Donkey Jump, Shovel Race, Dad Dash with Dad, Parade. There will be also the country's only marching band that performs on skis.
The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is located just 22 miles from Steamboat Springs.

Minnesota
St. Paul Winter Carnival
Place: St. Paul, Minnesota.
Dates: January 25 – February 3, 2024.
It is the oldest and biggest winter festival in the U.S.. The festival program includes: Saint Paul Fire & Ice Run and Walk, parades, snow sculpting and other family fun.
New York State
Saranac Lake Winter Carnival
Place: Saranac Lake, New York.
Dates: Friday, February 2, 2024 - Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Saranac Lake's first Winter Carnival was held in 1897. The 2024 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival theme is “Creepy Carnival”. The carnival events happen at New York's Adirondack Park, village of Saranac Lake.
The carnival Gala Parade and closing freworks will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Lake Placid Presidents' Week
Presidents' Week 2024 starts on Saturday, February 17th and runs until Sunday, February 25th. Have fun at Lake Placid Legacy Sites during Presidents' Week.
Ski or snowboard the best slopes in New York State, fly the world-famous 60 mph bobsleigh track, or skate on the Olympic Speed Skating Loop. Book tickets, ski rentals, and ski lessons in advance.
Nevada
Lake Tahoe SnowFest
Dates: February 29 - March 10, 2024.
Where: Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
This is an exciting event in a place popular with ski lovers. SnowFest was named one of the Top 100 Events in the United States by the American Business Association, and the Top 10 Events in California by the California Department of Tourism. The program usually includes: Tahoe City SnowFest Parade, Tahoe City Dog Pull, Fireworks, Tahoe City Dog Pull and others.
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is the closest commercial airport (just a 45 minute drive) to North Lake Tahoe.
The Tahoe City SnowFest Parade 2024 will be held on Saturday, March 2 (11:30am - 12:30pm).
Montana
Whitefish Winter Carnival
Where: Whitefish, Montana.
Dates: February 2-3–4, 2024.
These events are expected in the program: King Ullr LXIII and his Queen of the Snows coronation, Winter Disco Party, Prince Frey and Princess Freya coronation, Grand Parade. Also go in for sports and have fun on the ski slopes.

Wyoming
Jackson Hole Food & Wine Festival
Date: Mar 07 - 09, 2024.
Location: Teton Village, Wyoming.
It is 3-day weekend event based in Teton Village. Fest will be offering unique experiences that are sure to delight.
Join to interact and dine with guest chefs and renowned winemakers, the culinary community of Teton Village chefs. Ski amazing terrain and impressive food and wine.

Alaska
Fur Rendezvous
Place: Anchorage, Alaska.
Dates: February 22–March 3, 2024.
Fur Rondy (or simply Rondy) is a very interesting winter event that takes place in Alaska every year. You can see animals near you: sled dogs, reindeer and other animals. You can chat with pet owners.
The program usually includes: dog-sledding race, Cornhole Championships, Alaska Hold'em Tournament, Snow Sculpture Championship, Fur Auction, Arts Market, Frostbite Footrace & Costume Fun Run and others.
Anchorage International Airport is located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage.

Carnaval de Québec
It is not held in the USA, but in Quebec City, Canada, but US tourists often visit this event.
Dates: February 2-11, 2024.
The Quebec Winter Carnival is the largest winter festival in the Western Hemisphere. The most famous attractions of this winter festival are the night-time and daytime parades led by mascot Bonhomme Carnaval. Numerous public and private parties, shows and balls are held across the city.
Quebec City is served by Jean Lesage International Airport, located 13 km (8.1 mi) west of the city centre.
Winter is a great time for leisure, sports, joy and fun. Do not sit at home, get out on a trip.
