Moscow Metro

Metro stations “Kuznetsky Most” and “Lubyanka” in Moscow are located at a distance approximately 800 meters to north of the Kremlin and Red Square. The station “Kuznetsky Most” is located on Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya metro line and “Lubyanka” station on the Sokolnicheskaya line of the Moscow Metro. The stations are connected by transition that allows moving from one subway line to another. The distance between two station outputs on the earth surface is approximately 350 meters.

Metro station Belorusskaya in Moscow is located at a distance of about 3.4 kilometers north-west of the center of Moscow (Kremlin and Red Square), on Tverskaya Square, at the junction of streets First Tverskaya-Georgian Val Butyrskiy shaft and Leningrad Prospect. Metro station “Novokuznetskaya” is located in the central part of Moscow, in the “Zamoskvorech'e” area of Central Administrative District, at a distance of about 1.3 kilometers south of the Kremlin and Red Square.

Metro station “Paveletskaya” in Moscow is located at a distance of about 2.7 kilometers south of the Kremlin and Red Square, next to the Paveletskaya square and Paveletsky railway station. The station is located in the “Zamoskvorech'e” area Central Administrative District of Moscow.

Metro station “Taganskaya” (Таганская) in Moscow is located at a distance about 2.3 kilometers to east from the Kremlin and Red Square, near the “Taganskaya” square. “Taganskaya” metro stations are located on two lines of the Moscow Metro, on the “Koltsevaya” line (Circle Line) and “Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya” line. Stations halls are connected by the transition between, as well as the station “Marxistskaya” of Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line.

The metro station “Park Kultury” (Парк Культуры) in Moscow is located at a distance of about 2.5 kilometers south-west of the city center (Kremlin and Red Square), at the intersection of the “Sadovoye Koltso” (Garden Ring) and “Komsomolsky Prospekt” street. At a distance of about 600 meters from the station is a popular vacation spot - Gorky Park (Central Park named after Gorky). This explains station name selection. (The park is located on the opposite bank of the Moscow River from park.)

Metro station “Vorobyovy Gory” (Воробьёвы горы) is located in the south-western part of Moscow, at a distance about 6 kilometers from the city center (Kremlin, Red Square). The station is one of the two stations closest to the Luzhniki Stadium. (Near the stadium also is metro station “Sportivnaya”.) A feature of the station is that it is located on the bridge over the Moskva River.

Metro station “Sportivnaya” in Moscow is located in the southwestern part of the city, approximately 6 kilometers from the city center (Kremlin, Red Square). Near the metro station is located “Luzhniki” stadium (Olympic complex “Luzhniki”) This explains the choice of the station name. The station is located at a distance of approximately 1 kilometer from the river Moscow and from “Vorob’yovi Gori” hills.
