Izmailovo

Izmailovo is a former royal mansion built in the second half of the XVII century in the east of Moscow near Serebryanka river. Currently, "Izmailovo" is part of the Moscow State Integrated Art and Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve. It is located on a small artificial island. The island has several interesting historical architectural attractions.

Kolomenskoye

Kolomenskoye is a popular holiday destination among residents of Moscow. This is one of the city's attractions. Kolomenskoye is a large park on the banks of the Moskva river. The park has many interesting architectural sights.

Kolomenskoye Park and Museum is located at a distance of about 10 kilometers south of the city center (Kremlin, and Red Square). The park area is about 390 hectares. The length of the park from north to south is about 2.7 kilometers.

Moscow Planetarium

The planetarium is a place that may please interested in space and science people. Visit the Planetarium can be especially interesting for children and youth. Moscow Planetarium can be considered as one of the city's attractions.

Moscow Planetarium is located approximately 2.5 kilometers northwest of the Red Square, near the intersection of streets Barrikadnaya and Sadovaya-Ktsudrinskaya.

"Mosfilm" film studio

Mosfilm film studio is a largest and oldest in Russia. The studio has a museum. There are held guided tours for movie lovers. The studio may be interesting for tourists interested in cinema.
Mosfilm film studio is located at a distance approximately 6.5 kilometers southwest of the city center (Kremlin, and Red Square).

Novodevichy Convent in Moscow

Novodevichy Convent in Moscow (also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky Monastery) is one of the most famous sights of the city. The architectural complex of the monastery was proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. There are many churches and other buildings that may be interesting for tourists in the monastery. Many Russia famous people were buried on the Novodevichy cemetery.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary is one of the two existing Catholic churches in Moscow (2016) and the largest in Russia. Built in neo-Gothic style beautiful building attracts attention of tourists. The main liturgical language for Masses is Russian, but services are also held in Polish, English, French, Spanish, Korean, Latin and Armenian. There are held the charity concerts of organ and sacred music.

Church in Nikitniki

Trinity Church in Nikitniki located in the city center, approximately 650 meters from Red Square. The church has a scenic view, but not very often visited by tourists.

Church of the Holy Trinity in Nikitniki was built in the mid-17th century, presumably in 1628-1651 years. The church was model for construction of some other temples. The picturesque building is a example of Russian architecture of the XVII century.
