The cost of living in hotels in Finland in 2017

The average cost of a hotel room in Finland exceeds 100 euros per day. This is the data of the statistical office of Finland. According to the latest statistics, the average price of the room in January-June 2017 was 101.13 euros. In the previous year, this figure was 96.96 euros.
  
According to statistics, the most expensive hotels are in the Uusimaa region and in Lapland, where the average price at the beginning of the year was 112 euros per day. The cheapest average price was in the city of Kainu (61 euros).  
According to Statistics Finland, hotel prices have risen slightly since 1995.
  
 
  
At present, the number of tourists from Asian countries is increasing in the hotel sector of the Finnish economy. There was also a small increase in the number of tourists from Russia. Finnish domestic tourism is also growing. It is expected that these trends will continue in the next year.
  
During the first six months of this year, 9.8 million overnights were recorded in Finland hotels. This is 6.8% more than in the same period last year. The level of occupancy of hotel rooms in June was 59.6 percent.
