Amusement Park in Helsinki

huvipuisto Amusement park “Linnanmäki” is located approximately 2 kilometers north of Helsinki city center. This is one of the most visited places in the city, a popular place to spend free time for Helsinki citizens. The amusement Park “Linnanmäki” visited by more than one million people each year. Linnanmäki Amusement Park was opened May 27, 1950 and is owned by a nonprofit organization “Lasten Päivän Säätiö” (Foundation for Children's Day).

How to get to amusement park

Number of parking spaces near the park is limited, so it is recommended to use public transport.

  • From the railway station by tram № 3B to stop “Alppila”, tram number 9 to the stop “Kotkankatu”.
  • The bus number 23 from the railway station to the stop “Alppila”.
  • By train to Pasila station, then on foot, or by bus number 23, or tram number 9.
  • In the summer, also operates bus route “Linnanmäki Linja” from the exhibition center “Messukeskus”, with a stop at the “Holiday Inn” hotel.
