On the photo is view of the Peterhof “Sea Channel” from the Grand Palace. Sea channel with fountains alley lay from the Grand Palace to the sea coast. It divides the “Lower park” of Peterhof at the western and the eastern parts. As was conceived by Peter the Great guests were arriving to the Grand Palace along the “Sea Canal”. This was the main entrance to Peterhof. On the other end of the channel is located pier (in which arraiving high-speed boats from St. Petersburg).
Peterhof is a place that should be visited by all tourists in St. Petersburg.
