Economic crisis in Europe is not yet fully overcome. But Germanys tourism industry continues to evolve. According to statistics, growth in the number coming to Germany foreign tourists has been going on for four years in a row. National Tourist Board in Germany registered a record number of night’s international tourists in 2013. 7.16 million overnight stays foreign tourists in Germany. This is about 4% more than in the previous year.
The greatest increase in the number of tourists to Germany gave Britain, Russia, Switzerland, the Gulf countries, Poland, China. Germany's most popular region for foreign tourists is Bayern (Munich). The most popular destinations in Europe remain Spain and France.
