Metro station “Moskovskaya” in Saint Petersburg is located in the southern part of the city, close to the “Moskovskaya” square “Moscovsky prospek” street. The station got its name from the square and the street names. “Moskovskaya” metro station is the most convenient for those who need to get to the airport “Pulkovo” (or from the airport in Saint Petersburg).
The metro station “Moskovskaya” is located on the “Moscovsko-Petrogradskaya” metro line (line 2, blue line) between the stations “Zvyozdnaya” and “Park Pobedy”. The station opened on December 25, 1969. It is located at 29 meters depth.
The station does not have a ground pavilion. Entrance and exit are carried out through an underground passage under the “Moskovsky Prospect” street. Station underground hall has escalators in both ends of the hall. North entrance is located at the junction of the streets “Tipanova” and “Avitsionnaya” streets to “Moscovsky Prospekt”. The south entrance is located at the junction of the “Altaiskaya” streets to “Moscovsky Prospekt” street.
