Metro stations “Sennaya Ploschad”, “Sadovaya”, “Spasskaya”

Metro Stations “Sennaya Ploschad”, “Sadovaya”, “Spasskaya” are located in the central part of Saint Petersburg near the “Sennaya Ploschad” square. Stations are located close to the city busy traffic arteries: Sadovaya Street, Moskovsky Prospekt, Sennaya Street, Griboyedov Canal. The stations are located at a distance about 1 kilometer to south from “Nevsky Prospekt” (Saint Petersburg the most famous street). Many shops and cafes are located near the station. Metro stations “Sennaya Ploschad”, “Sadovaya” and “Spasskaya” form a major interchange node of St. Petersburg metro (combines three subway lines).

Metro station “Sennaya Ploschad”

Metro station “Sennaya Ploschad” is located near the “Sennaya Ploschad” Square and Sadovaya street. It is located on the “Moscovsko-Petrogradskaya” line (line 2, blue line) of St. Petersburg metro, between stations “Technologychesky Institut” and “Nevsky Prospect”.

The station was opened on July 1, 1963. Initially (before July 1, 1992), the station has name “Ploschad Mira”. Station is located at 55 meters depth.

Metro station “Sennaya Ploschad” pavilion is located in the south-eastern part of the “Sennaya Ploschad” Square. At the north part of the station underground hall is located exit from the station, which has three escalators. There is a transition to the “Spasskaya” station in the southern part of the underground hall. Transition to the station “Sadovaya” starts from the center of the hall (stairs, then a pedestrian tunnel).

The terrorist act was committed between the stations Sennaya Ploschad and the Technological Institute on April 3, 2017.

Metro station “Sadovaya”

Metro station “Sadovaya” is located near the “Sennaya Ploschad” square and Sadovaya Street. The station is located at the “Primorsko-Frunzenskaya line (line 5, purple line) of St. Petersburg metro, between “Zvenigorodskaya” and “Admiralteyskaya”stations.
The station was opened on December 30, 1991. Station is located at depth about 71 meters.

St. Petersburg metro map and useful information Station has no ground pavilion. Entrance to the station is via the underpass, which has outputs on both sides of the “Sennaya Ploschad” square and “Sadovaya” street.

At the north end of the station hall, there is underground access to the city (the stairs and pedestrian tunnel to the escalators).
There is transition to “Sennaya Ploschad” station of “Moscowsko-Petrogradskaya” line in the southern part of the underground hall.
Gait to the “Spasskaya” station is located in the middle of the platform.

Metro station “Spasskaya”

Metro station “Spasskaya” is located on the “Pravobereznaja” metroline (line 4, brown line) of St. Petersburg metro. Currently, it is the terminal station of the line (2016). It is panned Line extension and construction of stations “Teatralnaya”, “Gorny Institut”, “Gavan’”, “Morskoy Fasad”.

The station was commissioned in March 7, 2009. The station is located at a depth about 60 meters under ground level. Exit to the city is at the center of the underground hall of the station.
Exit to the station “Sennaya Ploschad” located in the southern end of the hall.
Exit to the station “Sadovaya” is located in the northern end of the hall (stairs and then by the escalator).
