Metro station “Paveletskaya” in Moscow is located at a distance of about 2.7 kilometers south of the Kremlin and Red Square, next to the Paveletskaya square and Paveletsky railway station. Metro station “Paveletskaya” is located on two lines of the Moscow metro: “Zamotskvoretskaya” line and “Koltsevaya” line (Circle Line). The station is located in the “Zamoskvorech'e” area Central Administrative District of Moscow.
Metro station “Paveletskaya” (Zamoskvoretskaya line)
Metro station Paveletskaya (станция метро Павелецкая) of Moscow metro Zamoskvoretskaya line (line 2, green line) is located between the stations “Novokuznetskaya” and “Avtozavodskaya”.
The station opened on 20 November 1943. Underground station hall is located at a depth of 33 meters.
The station has two ground lobbies. South vestibule was opened in 1943 (along with the station). The lobby is built into the of Paveletskiy railway station building. It has access to the building “Paveletskiy vorsal” railway station.
The northern vestibule is common with the metro station “Paveletskaya” of “Koltsevaya” (Ring) line. The lobby was opened February 21, 1953.
Transition to “Koltsevaya” metro line is located in the center of the station underground hall. It is also possible to change subway lines through a common lobby.
The station is an architectural monument.
Metro station “Paveletskaya” (Koltsevaya Line)
Metro station “Paveletskaya” of “Koltsevaya” line (Circle Line, line 5, brown line) is located between metro stations “Taganskaya” and “Dobryninskaya”.
The station was opened in 1950. The station is located at a depth of 40 meters. In the center of the hall is a transition to the eponymous station of Zamoskvoretskaya line. Also transition can be done through a common for the two stations ground lobby.
Ground station lobby is located on the north side Paveletskaya Square, at the intersection of Novokuznetskaya street and the “Sadovoye Koltso” (Garden Ring), in the house № 43/16 by Novokuznetskaya street.
