Maryina Roscha metro station in Moscow (станция метро Марьина Роща) is located near the intersection of streets Sheremetyevskaya and Suschevsky Val, at a distance approximately 4.6 km to north of the city center (Kremlin and Red Square).
The Maryina Roscha station is located on Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro (line 10, light green line). Currently (2015) it is the final station of the line. The nearest metro station is "Dostoevskaya".
The station was opened on 19 June 2010. The station has two underground vestibules. South vestibule is located near the intersection of the Sheremetyevskaya street and Suschevsky Val Street. North vestibule is located next to the Sheremetyevskaya street, at a distance about 200 meters from the south vestibule.
Maryina Roscha is the historical name of the district of Moscow, on whose territory the station located. The first mention of the Maryino village belong to the end of the XVI century. This explains the choice of the station name.
According to the plans “Maryina Roscha” metro station will be connected by transfer to station "Sheremetyevskaya" of Third interchange circuit.
