The "Federation" tower can be considered one of the landmarks of Moscow. At the present time (2016) it is the highest skyscraper in Europe. The building is located on the territory of the Moscow International Business Center Moscow-City. The architectural project is developed by Sergey Choban together with Peter Schweger. The design and construction was attended by experts from different countries (Russia, Germany, USA and Turkey).
"Federation" tower consists of two buildings united by a common base (stylobate). The buildings were named Tower West and Tower East.
- The "The West" tower has 62 above-ground and 5 floors underground. The height of the skyscraper is 243 meters.
- "The East" Tower has a height of 374 meters. (Different sources indicate different number of floors: 95, 97, 101). Construction work on the tower of the East should be completed in 2016.
Offices and apartments are located in the "Federation Tower". The building is also a popular tourist destination object. There are guided tours, a restaurant and an observation deck
The tower is located at a distance of about 5 kilometers west of the city center (Kremlin, and Red Square).
