Trinity Church in Nikitniki located in the city center, approximately 650 meters from Red Square. The church has a scenic view, but not very often visited by tourists.

Church of the Holy Trinity in Nikitniki was built in the mid-17th century, presumably in 1628-1651 years. The church was model for construction of some other temples. The picturesque building is a example of Russian architecture of the XVII century.

The main shrine of the temple from 1654 is a list of Georgian icon of the Mother of God, made in connection with the deliverance of the capital of the plague epidemic. For this reason the Church in common parlance was also called the Church of Our Lady of Georgia.

The church is located to the east of the Red Square in Nikitnikov Lane, between Staraya Ploschad Square and Ipatiev lane.

Address: Moscow, Nikitnikov lane 3.
The nearest metro station Kitai-Gorod is located at a distance less than 200 meters from the church.
You can specify the location of the church on a Moscow map.
