UEFA EURO 2020 matches in St. Petersburg

The 2020 European Football Championship will be held from June 11 to July 11, 2021. UEFA EURO 2020 matches will be held at 11 stadiums in 11 cities of 10 states. Seven matches will be held in St. Petersburg (Russia), at the Gazprom Arena stadium (Saint Petersburg Arena). Tickets for the St Petersburg Arena stadium will be divided into several categories. Tickets cost from 50 euros to 225 euros.

Visitors to football matches will be able to travel free of charge in city public transport during Euro 2020 in St. Petersburg on the day of the match. In case of checking the tickets, it will only be necessary to present the entrance ticket for the match. There will be no travel restrictions on number of trips.

If you were unable to buy a football ticket, you can watch the championship matches in the fan zone or sports bar.

Two fan zones will be opened in St. Petersburg.

The largest fan zone will be located on Konyushennaya Square, Konyushennaya Square is located in the heart of the city. The distance from Nevsky Prospect is approximately 600 meters, from Palace Square - 500 meters. (You can go to Konyushennaya Square from Nevsky Prospekt along Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street. The football village on Konyushennaya Square will be open throughout the championship from June 11 to July 11, 2021.

There will be a family entertainment area on Konyushennaya Square. All matches will be shown on the big screen. Various entertainment events are also planned.

The second fan zone will be located on Palace Square.
On the Palace Square, the most significant matches will be shown on a large TV screen, starting from the quarterfinals: on July 2 and 3 - matches of the ¼ final, on July 6 and 7 - the semi-finals, on July 11 - the final match. An entertainment program will be organized three hours before the start of the broadcasts.

Entrance to the fan zone is free. No ticket needed.

Choose a hotel with a convenient location!

It is most convenient to choose a hotel in the city center, not far from Nevsky Prospekt. You can get to the stadium by metro. You can get to the fan zone on foot. If you could not book a hotel in the city center, then you can recommend any hotel near the green metro line (line 3). (For example, Moscow hotel is located next to the metro station "Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo".

The football stadium is located on Krestovsky Island.
On the days of the matches, shuttle buses will operate on the following routes to transport fans to and from the stadium:

  • Shuttle S1 - Pulkovo Airport - Vosstaniya square (Moskovsky railway station).
  • Shuttle S2 - Ploshchad Vosstaniya (Moskovsky railway station) - Krestovsky island.
  • Shuttle S3 - Petrogradskaya metro station - Krestovsky island bus station.
  • Shuttle S4 - Vyborgskaya metro station - Krestovsky island bus station.
  • Shuttle S6 - Chkalovskaya metro station - Krestovsky island (Sports street).
  • Shuttle S10 - Pulkovo Airport - Krestovsky Island (Ryukhina Street).

Free travel is provided to viewers of UEFA EURO 2020 from 00:00 on the day of the match until 23:59 the next day on routes within St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region:

  • All subway lines.
