USA - Greece air traffic is being restored step by step

Air traffic between the United States and Greece began to recover step by step. Delta Air Lines became the first airline to resume flights between the United States and Greece after the pandemic. The first flight between New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and Athens Airport has already been completed.

Emirates Airlines is restoring flights between New York and Athens. The first flight was scheduled for June 1, 2021 (Newark Airport, EWR - Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, ATH).

American Airlines plans to open summer flights to Athens (ATH) from New York (JFK) and Chicago (ORD) from 05 June 2021.

Greece's tourism industry is hoping for a significant recovery this summer. Tourism industry experts hope that a revival in tourism could occur in late June or early July. The hope remains that July, August and September will be good for both tourists and business. Tourists from some countries are already arriving in Greece. Tourists from Great Britain, Germany, Scandinavia, Russia and the USA are very welcome in Greece.
