The opening dates for the 2023/24 ski season have already been announced, although the weather may change. (Winter operating dates are subject to change due to weather, conditions, and unforeseen circumstances.)

Park City Mountain Resort, Utah.
This winter will mark the resort’s 60th season in operation. Many interesting events are planned to be held at the resort this winter.
Park City Mountain opening date for the 2023-24 winter season will be Friday, Nov. 17, at both Park City Mountain Village and Canyons Village. (The weather can change plans.)

Whiteface Mountain winter season estimated opening day: The start date for the winter season has not yet been announced, but it could be Friday, November 17, 2023.
Santa Sunday will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Whiteface.
Whiteface Mountain ski resort is located approximately 300 miles from New York (northward, close to the Canadian border).
Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) is located in Lake Clear, 16 miles from Lake Placid and 28 miles from Whiteface Mountain.

Stowe Mountain Resort is 40 minutes from Burlington International Airport (BTV) and less than 30 minutes from the train station.

Sun Valley Resort is planning 2022-23 winter season opening day at Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022.

Unfortunately, the opening of the winter season has been delayed until enough snow falls. Projected ski area opening date 2023: December 9th.
