Americans again choose Mexico, the Mayan Riviera coast and the city of Cancun as their vacation destination. According to statistics, the number of foreign tourists for the first half of 2022 has already exceeded the figures for 2021 and 2019.
We have all missed being able to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, many of us again went on vacation to our favorite places. Many Americans have chosen Mexico as their vacation destination this year.
From January to June 2022, more than 10 million international tourists were recorded arriving in Mexico by air. This is 83% more than in the corresponding period of 2021.
