Good news - Andalusia has abandoned the introduction of a Tourist Tax, at least for a while

Not all government decisions lead to higher prices. There is some good news. Information comes from Spain that the Andalusian authorities have abandoned the introduction of a tourist tax, at least for some time. It's good that there are still people who keep their promises and go against general trends.

Why did the Andalusian authorities make such a pleasant decision for tourists?
Tax cuts were promised by some politicians in their election platform! And they are trying to fulfill their promises.
Tourist tax will have to be paid not only by tourists, but also by local residents and residents of neighboring regions who travel around Spain.

It should be mentioned that this decision has opponents. Their argument: local authorities are forced to bear large expenses, but do not receive income from tourists. But tourists create jobs for local residents. Tourism is a source of income for many!

It is unlikely that Andalusia will be able to resist the introduction of a tourist tax for long. But maybe others will follow their example?!

Personally, I don't like it when tourists are subject to additional taxes. There is something unpleasant and disgusting about this.
