Spain's Mediterranean coast could become Europe's hottest holiday destination this summer

Spain's Mediterranean coast could become Europe's hottest holiday destination this summer. It is quite possible. Spain has been a very popular tourist destination for many years. Cities such as Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benidor, Tarragona, and Barcelona are well known to travel lovers.

You can see the location on the map.

Last year was very successful for Spain. For example, Malaga Costa del Sol Airport broke all records last year and expects to surpass the results in 2024.

The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular regions of Spain for summer holidays among residents of many European countries. This year Malaga also expects to attract more tourists from North America and the Middle East.

While Americans have their favorite travel destinations, interest in travel to Europe also remains high. This is facilitated by the fact that there is direct air service between Malaga and New York. There may be other direct flights, for example, from Miami to Spain.

The city of Marbella is one of the favorite tourist destinations of the North American market Costa del Sol

Tourists from the USA and Canada are attracted to the same cities that are popular among Europeans: Malaga, Marbella, Valencia, Barcelona. But it would probably be unwise to take such a long and expensive flight to visit only one city. We would recommend that Americans take more time to vacation in Spain and travel more during their vacation. You should not miss the opportunity to get acquainted with the history and culture of Spain.

There are reasons that may put some holidaymakers off traveling to Spain this summer. This is too much heat and possible drought. But it seems to us that good beaches and sunny weather will still attract many residents of northern Europe.

If Spain manages to attract enough tourists from North America and the Middle East, this could affect prices. North American tourists are considered more able to pay than Europeans, and this may cause some price increases.

Residents of Europe are left with a very wide choice if they do not want to go to Spain.

  • There are wonderful resorts in Greece, on the Cote d'Azur of France, in Italy, Croatia, and Turkey.
  • If you don't like crowds of tourists, you can find a small and quiet town on the Mediterranean coast.
  • If you are worried about too hot weather, then think about a trip to Finland, Sweden.

Dream about your summer vacation now.
