Interesting events in February in St. Petersburg. This information is useful to read before the trip.
February is not the richest month in events and activities in St. Petersburg. We tried to find events that would be interesting for tourists to attend.
Any scheduled event may be postponed or cancelled.
Jewelry exhibition
January 31 - February 4, 2024.
The jewelry exhibition JUNWEX will be held at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center. The event is not only for professionals. Including a fashion show of collections of St. Petersburg designers and jewelry collections, Life hacks for newlyweds “One thing for life: choosing wedding rings.”
In Passage (in the center of St. Petersburg) an “Amber Art Show” and a Show-display of wedding jewelry collections and designer clothing are planned.
Chinese New Year Festival
February 3 – February 4, 2024.
In honor of the Chinese New Year, the Nihao Shifu Festival of Food and Chinese Culture.
The program includes: food, photo zone, performance by Chinese artists, New Year's lion dance, territory of Chinese beauty (Asian fashionable hairstyles, makeup and massage).
18+.
Place, territory of public space "Sevkabel Port".
We do not yet have information about whether admission is paid or free.
Birthday of the Igora ski resort
Date: February 3, 2024.
The Istra ski resort will celebrate its eighteenth birthday actively.
Planned: Entertainment program, gift drawing, cover band performance, fire show, drummer show.
The ski resort is popular among residents of St. Petersburg, but is located in the Leningrad region.
Chinese New Year
February 10, 2024.
The Chinese New Year will begin on February 10, 2024 (the Year of the Wooden Dragon) and end on January 28, 2025 (the Year of the Snake). New Year celebrations can take place over two weeks. The events will take place in different parts of the city.
This year, presumably, the Lunar New Year will be celebrated on a larger scale than before.
Many cities around the world host colorful parades these days (probably February 18, 2024). Whether there will be anything similar in St. Petersburg is still unknown.
Big Love Show
Date: February 09, 2024.
A great concert "Big Love Show" will be held February 08 on the occasion of "Valentine's Day" in St. Petersburg. The concert will feature many well-known artists of the Russian platform.

Ski competitions in St. Petersburg
February 10, 2024 (presumably).

Ski Russia - Open All-Russian mass ski race "Ski Track of Russia 2024" in St. Petersburg. This sports festival has been held annually since 1982.
Festival of Tinctures
Dates: February 10 and 11, 2024. (18+)
Located on the territory of Sevkabel-Port, the Union bar organizes the Festival of Tinctures. (Tinctures are strong alcoholic drinks.)
Bars and glass shops in St. Petersburg will present their alcoholic “masterpieces”. Not for the sake of drunkenness, but to find interesting flavor combinations.
Ticket prices start from 500 rubles.
Speed skating downhill
February 10, 2024.
The ice skating downhill competition will be held at the Igora ski resort. It is planned that more than a hundred athletes from around the world will take part in the competition. This is quite a traumatic activity. Athletes in full hockey gear will start in groups of 4 people. Admission for spectators is free. An entertainment program is also provided.

Exhibition - Education in other countries
February 11, 2024.
The exhibition is an event for those who want to get an education abroad. The event may be of interest to schoolchildren, students, graduates, parents, and anyone who wants to grow professionally, work abroad and be a sought-after specialist anywhere in the world.

Open dance festival “Crystal Ball 2024”
February 23 - 24, 2024.
Open Dance Festival “Crystal Ball” is held for the 13th time.
The 11th “Crystal Ball” will be held as the International Stage of the Russian Dance Union Cup.

Dog show. Winter 2024
February 24 - 25, 2024.
A great event for dog lovers, and for those who want to get a dog and choose a breed. Over 400 breeds and over 3000 dogs in one place.

Festival ENERGY MOUNTAIN
Date: February 24, 2024.
The festival of music and winter entertainment will be held at the Igora ski resort.
The program includes: sports, music, “Hot Race”. Owners of the most original and creative costumes (find out costume requirements on the event website) will receive excellent gifts from ENERGY radio.
PET INDUSTRY 2024
February 28 - March 1, 2024.
"PET INDUSTRY" is a large, specialized exhibition of goods and services for pets.
