Date: July 04, 2019. Independence Day (the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The holiday is accompanied by fireworks, parades, carnivals in all cities of the USA.

Spring comes to St. Petersburg in April. Tourists are much more interesting this month. Navigation begins in the second half of the month on the Neva River. This means that you can again go on a river excursion, as well as see the opening of bridges. The fountains start working at the end of the month in the city and in Peterhof.

February 24 - March 1, 2020.

Pancake week "Maslenitsa" in 2020 will be held in Russia from February 24 to March 1. Festivities will be held in various parts of the city. The greatest number of events will be held on March 1.
(Venues: Peter and Paul Fortress, New Holland, Elagin Island, the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg and other places in the city.)
