Pentahotel Moscow - Arbat opens in 2018

Pentahotels has recently opened its first hotel in Russia. The Pentahotel Moscow-Arbat hotel will be located in one of the four famous "Book Houses" located on Novy Arbat street, less than two kilometers from Red Square.

The hotel has 228 comfortable rooms with nice furniture and elegant design, as well as a conference room and a gym. Guests of the capital of Russia will be able to live with a high level of comfort in the city center.

The cost of living in hotels in Finland in 2017

The average cost of a hotel room in Finland exceeds 100 euros per day. This is the data of the statistical office of Finland. According to the latest statistics, the average price of the room in January-June 2017 was 101.13 euros. In the previous year, this figure was 96.96 euros.
  
According to statistics, the most expensive hotels are in the Uusimaa region and in Lapland, where the average price at the beginning of the year was 112 euros per day. The cheapest average price was in the city of Kainu (61 euros).

Foreigners will be fingerprinted possible from 2017 in Russia

Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has offered to take fingerprints of all foreigners entering the country. This topic will be discussed by Interior Ministry experts and the Russian Foreign Ministry. Perhaps foreigners coming to Russia have to undergo fingerprinting procedure in 2017. This can help to find the criminals and the identification of those killed in the disasters.

Russian citizens are required to be fingerprinted for a Schengen visa from September 2015. Thus, the Russian government supported the initiative of their European counterparts.

Improvement of the road between St. Petersburg and Finland

The first expanded part of the “Scandinavia” road was opened for car traffic in October 2016. The road connects St. Petersburg and Finland, bypassing city of Vyborg on the east side. The reconstructed section of road has six lanes for car traffic (three in each direction).
