Merchant Sederholm house is the oldest building in the heart of Helsinki, Finland. The building was built in 1757. The house is situated on the Helsinki Senate Square, at the intersection of Aleksanterinkatu and Katariinankatu streets. In 1949 the building was purchased by the municipality of Helsinki. In 1985 the house was handed over to the Helsinki Sederholm museum. At present, there is one of expositions of the Helsinki city museum. Entrance to the Helsinki City Museum is free. Nearby are many attractions of the city.
